Chris,

Sadly, you're probably correct.

Oliver,

When the new software comes out to block them, the new software to defeat THAT software, has been out for a month!

I notice they've been starting up their own polls too! The Cheek!

I've done heaps over the past few weeks to try and curtail spam. I've banned a whole lot of email addresses, including a blanket ban on some countries' addresses (Russia, for instance).

Some still get through, but NTRabbit or I quickly delete the posts, then I delete the user and ban the email address or domain.

The new version of the phpBB software, due out soon, contains a whole raft of new features, including better spam control.

Hopefully this will also help.

Cheers,

Oliver
