Just letting you know that the forum will be offline for a few hours late next week (probably overnight on Thursday, December 2, or the morning of Friday, December 3) while I perform a major upgrade to the board.

I haven't upgraded the software on the forum for nearly three years, due to being busy and problems with the hosting company that I won't bore you with.

The new version has many bug fixes and enhancements, including better protection against spam registrations. I spend a great deal of time deleting spam registrations, so not having to do so much of this will allow me more time on the forum, not to mention making beer. To give you an idea of how much time I spend, since tne start of 2008 I estimate I've deleted 15,000 spam account :shock:

I'll let you know when I have a better idea of the exact time of the outage.
