Grant on the 2 brews I have bottled to date I have left about 3cms as I find if you fill to the top of the bottle and then when you removed the bottler tube this is roughly whats left. No probs so far though I do recall reading somewhere to leave 5cms.

A question for future refernce if Itook the beers out of the warmth too early and into the fridge, can I simply remove and put back into the warmth? Will 2ndry recommence once it warms?

BenH, I too went solo and managed to try 20 in 1 1/2 hours.

There was a pilsner that had too much flavour going on for my liking and a dark bock that was too strong for my palate but very enjoyable overall and helped me to savour and appreciate different types and flavours.

Well worth the $20

Yes I did boil on stove top and filtered the hops thru a stocking. Unfortunately I haven't got round to buying another fermenter to rack to yet, but I'll pinch my little bros!

We'll see how it goes after resting to the w/end

Firstly, congrats to all on a great site.

Now (following the gratuitous feedback) for the assistance required. I just put down by 2nd ever batch on 8/7. Ingredients:
Brewcraft Munich Lager
#15 booster 1 kg
Hallertau hops

Its been at a constant 12 degrees, with OG 1038. Fermentation has almost ...
