Yeh i know what your thinking !! but i tell you its better than the town water & dam cold perfect for getting the temps down we done 2 largers & 1 ales & after topping up to 23lts it was sitting on about 18 deg !! :lol ...
Just a quick one ive just used up some left overs from a 19 lt keg & the only bottles i could find were a couple of longnecks that i had sitting around so clean them out & bottle them up !! :roll:
Ah now what do i do ive only got the caps that were on the longnecks & the capper is @ my ...
The box is sitting up off the ground on a timber stand as well so you not moveing vats very much when transfering into the cubes or kegs for cold chilling or gasing !! :lol:
The other thing is when your not brewing i use them for ice bricks for the beer i take when camping 8 ...
This is my heat box for winter time but i also use it for the summer as well :lol: It holds 4 vats & has a heat lamp coming up through the bottom works a treat,
As you can see from the photos it also doubles as a fridgemate i just reuse the kit tins & freeze them you just change them ...
You wouldnt beleive what happen after putting the 2 largers in the fridge & settiting the tempmate to 10 deg we noticed it wasnt pulling down real quick from 24 abient temp from having the door open trying to fit both vats into the fridge, I said to my mate just leave it ...
Ive just been reading over some of this & was trying to correct myself as far as alcohol % goes !!,
I just finished a kit Coopers Australain Pale Ale with 1.5kg LLME & saf-05 yeast for 23lts, Yeast pitched @ 20 to 22 deg brew temp stayed around 20 to 24 deg for 8 days,
