Thanks Anna, I'll give it a crack and see how it turns out.
I've been reading another part of the forum about dry hopping. Anybody want to throw in their two bits as to what stage of fermentation to dry hop? A few have said the later the better to maximise aroma?
Arny.

Re: Forgot to put the hops in...
That's a good question Earle! I was just really trying to follow the recipe from the kit provided but just completely forgot about it until I saw it sitting on the bench looking up at me while i was cleaning up.
If I throw them in to the fermenter as Anna has suggested which way do you think it ...

Forgot to put the hops in...
Hi,
Made up a Pilsner but forgot to boil up the hops and strain it in. Any chance I could dry hop it straight into the fermenter now (two days later)? Or is it best not to and just drink the beer without it?

Brew Craft kit reviews?
Hi,
I've become a fan of Brewcraft and their complete kits of popular brews.
I've done the Hoegaarden, Summer Ale, Fat Yak #2 and am currently cooking up a Little Creature's Pale Ale. All taste great and like the brewery beers...except with more punch and flavour I've found. Fat Yak certainly ...

Re: Fat Yak?
Just thought I'd get on and say that the beer is now tasting fantastic. I had a fat yak on tap the other day down at the Waterside Hotel in Melbourne and then went home and cracked one of mine. Mine is Fat Yak on steroids but the same taste is there! Now a great brew.

Thank Bobbioli. That's the recipe. Maybe it's just me but a few friends think it's strong but they really like it. I'm coming around to it.
Re: Fat Yak?
Tried the Fat Yak #2 after 2 weeks in the bottle and this thing has some balls. Super hoppy....not sure about it just yet.
Was at the brew store and he said that of the two recipes brewcraft are putting out, the first one is a bit more like the real thing.
Haven't given up on it though...only early ...

Re: Fat Yak?
Brew craft (in Richmond Mellbourne anyway) have put out a Fat Yak #2. Put it down yesterday...let you know.
