Hi Guys,

I put down a Coopers Stout with 1.5 Kg of dark malt and 700g of dextrose. It's been 5 days and the gravity has been stable at 16 for the last 2 days (it started off at 60). I know that malt doesn't ferment down as much as dextrose am wondering what I can expect this to get down to??? I'm ...

I'm thinking of getting a little bit more experimental with my brewing but am NOT yet ready for Mashing (even partial). Just wondering what quality you can do with just malt, hops and yeast? I'm really into dark beers and stouts. Any recipes you could provide without going TOTALLY ...

G'day,

Don't know if this is really relevent but I've been using a shower extension hose to top up the fermenter. (connect it to the tap and other end like a shower head). Its a bit of a pain to clean but MAN does it aerate the wort. Just using dry yeast I've had activity within 3 hours at 24c.
