Re: What are you brewing?
I know I said I was taking a break from brewing but the price of beer has put me off that idea, along with the beckoning of all the empty bottles.

Aldi Flensberger pils. Nice drop. Slightly harsh bitterness, perhaps due to isohop, which is listed in the ingredients on the packaging. Still pretty good though.

Re: What are you drinking now?
I went halves in a Bridge Rd. Beer School pack with a mate recently. Cheesy name but I liked the concept and enjoyed the beers. We both agreed that the Summer hopped brew was the best. I also liked the Ella version. Galaxy was a bit harsh, even for an IPA.

Bottles and brewing gear.
I'm taking a break from brewing as I no longer have time for it due to work, study, family, sport etc. Hopefully it's only a temporary situation. Since I don't want to be tripping over this stuff for ever I'm giving away and or selling it.

Yes, seeing Port Adelaide finish outside the top four after being on top of the ladder most of the year will qualify as a highlight of sorts.

Well, that's 8 hours I won't get back.
If the Hawks haven't learnt to stop McVeigh and Malceski then they're much slower learners than you'd expect of professional sportsmen. That, as well as the lack of Mitchell and Lake got the Geese over the line more surely than Buddy and Tiprat.

Almost finished the second leg of a Dark MIld, Milk Stout double brew day. Bit of a rhetorical question but is there a better smell than an AG Stout on the boil? :)~
