After doing two gravity tests, draining a little to clear the tap, then the left over after racking and then dry hopping I don't think it's too bad.

Well I bottled my first brewfridge beer this morning, Knappstein Larger, after 2weeks on primary a couple of days rest then 2 weeks of racking with 25gm of nelson dry hopped it came out of the fermentor crystal clear and tasted great!!!! I can't wait for it to carb up, hopefully my first attempt at ...

From what I have read I won't require a dactyl rest as I'm brewing at a consistant 10deg.

I'm wanting to give you LCPA a crack, only prob is I don't gave acess to grumpys, what can I substitute in for that?? The last lot of cascade, when is that added?? I'm reasonably new to it all and trying to learn....

My starter appears to have worked well, a small yeast cake has formed and is currently sitting in my fridge waiting to be pitched. How long can I keep it in there?? I planned on having the brew done by now but brew shop stuff up and work commitments means I won't get it sown until Sunday ...

Okie dokie, I think I'll give this racking a crack with my knappstein. I don't have space to crash chill so I'll rack it after fermentation and them put it back into the brew fridge for a further couple of weeks to larger it (since I'm using the saf s-23 larger yeast)

Just back onto the racking, once transferred into a second fermentor should it be kept at the same temp as it was during primary?? I'm about to get my larger in and wanna giv racking a crack to clear it up and improve it....

Pulled the started out of the cupboard and looks to have a nice yeast cake on the bottom, wacked it into the fridge to cool it down, hoping to pitch it later in the week. Fingers crossed, I'll keep you posted......

My mix was 200gm LDMA to 4lt of water (I meant to do 2nd as I said), it seems to be coming along slowly......
Speedy I do agree with you, I've been doing alot of research on this site and have used this starter as a stepping stone to the next level....then next down the track will be AG brewing ...
