I put the brew on last night and it is bubbling away nicely now as an ale. I hope it turns out ok.

Spicy Ghost

G'day,
A mate of mine recently got a Spicy Ghost kit for a present and I told him I would brew it up for him.
A big question I have before I receive the kit from him has to do whether it needs to be brewed as a lager or an ale. I just don't have the set up to brew a lager in this weather.

I had a pint of Boddington's at Irish Murphy's in Geelong that had the taste, aroma and appeal of a dead fish that had been left in the sun for two weeks.

At the ripe old age of 22 I am yet to see the HBS empty. Geelong is not the biggest place in Australia, but we must have at least one or two floating about in ...

I know it's not exactly beer related, but I have been hearing one or two stories from some of my mates in the bartending industry that Coca Cola was set to buy Jim Beam. I can't seem to find anything to directly confirm this, but in my opinion, that is a pretty serious move to start making a crack ...

Cheers Boonie, I've been waiting for an excuse to make some noise in the forums after reading up on just about everything posted on here.
The second fermenter may be a while off yet. I'm still fairly green at the whole brewing process, but I have never enjoyed trial and error so much.

Those measuring spoon sets have been my saviour for bottle priming.
