hey im happy with it for now, i can tell it's definately stronger alcohol content than the beer i normally drink. And the taste grew on me. Prolly grew in my guts too LMFAO.

Hey guys, thanks all for ur suggestions.

I took the input, an (probably not to the letter). Grabbed a kilo o sugar, boiled it into 2L hot water on the stove, cooled it to room temp, then poured it in, making sure the lid wasn't off it for too long.

Today i sampled the brew and I'm not quite sure ...

I'm definately willing to try new brews, it seems so logical to brew ur own, ya get what? maybe 30 tallies outta a brew? So ill be sampling quite a few beers, an in between brewin beers, ill be makin quite a few litres of Drambui, i love the stuff.

What i've read from you alone seems to be a goldmine of knowledge. I can't say i expected to get my first brew right, but hey, ill keep on truckin, and get it right. After all, the purpose o home-brewin' is to get ur own beer the way ya like it right.

I was thinking about adding the sugar now and waiting another week, didnt' know if that was a bad thing or not, as i have read about people who leave their stills for 2 weeks instead of just one.

I was just soooo pissed off at coopers today, can't believe they didnt' mention it in the instructions ...
