don't worry about the airlock. its dropped in gravity so id be happy. look for the other signs of fermentation.

depends on what your trying to achieve.
personally i really like the rosealare strain and the new er yeast bay strains but it all depends on what your trying to do.

as above but also add the liquid to the beer as this will have a lot of flavour.

we have been getting them for while between the one from canada, nz and uk. the local one is the rarity.

add the gelatine 24 to 36 hours before you package.
they will drop your hops out.

Yes they do take a couple of months to ferment out. I ferment in a few things. I've got glass, better bottles and plastic fermenters. Never had a problem with cross contamination that I didn't cause myself.

I had them last night Barls and that's exactly how I'd describe it, nice and pleasant.

The summer should be a nice pleasant one but that abbey is also very sour

i did warn you that it was sour and that i dont stuff around. yeah it was unprimed.
that one was straight lambic blend then a few dregs for other sours ive been drinking, then aged on medium toast plus hungarian oak for 6 months.

ive got to disagree i do adjust for no chilling but mainly its when i add my hops. mine is nothing in the pot after 15 minute and it works for me.
i also first wort hop but thats a whole another kettle of fish.

If you want big hop flavour, reduce your 60 minute addition aka bittering and increase or add to the 20 minute addition aka flavour
