Re: Extract Carlton Dry

Nothing that I know of Bart. Not much action around here these days, so not sure what response you might get.

Re: What are you drinking now?

4 Pines Extra Refreshing Ale 4.1% - and yes quite refreshing. Just finished putting a flat pack desk together. Took me pretty much all day (it's a big desk). Office is getting a refit.

Re: What are you drinking now?

Drinking a 4 Pines Hefeweizen now. A good fathers day drink I suspect. Like you said Geoff, it is nice to get away from the over the top craft beers to something basic, but nevertheless enjoyable. Happy Fathers Day.

Re: What are you drinking now?

Carlsberg Danish Pilsner. I actually felt like a Pils after working in the garden for a few hours. Can't say I've ever had this one before and it is quite refreshing. Not quite up there with the great pilsners but certainly ok.

What surprised me was that it is actually brewed under licence by ...

Re: What are you drinking now?

My selection for tonight. Not sure what I'll start with, probably not the oatmeal stout.

Re: What are you drinking now?

Coopers XPA. Never tried this before so picked up a 6 pack as it was on special. Light, fruity and a little bitter. Doesn't taste like 5.2%.

Re: What are you drinking now?

Haven't visited that other forum for quite some time. I only come back here for the occasional witticism like this one. Good work.

Bleach inspired Witbier... I'd give it a try. The other demographic you mention Lob would probably think it could cure COVID-19.

Re: What are you drinking now?

Moobrew american style pale ale. Light, refreshing, just what I need after being the ceiling of the house for half the day re-locating cables.

Re: What are you drinking now?

Forgot the Thin Lizzy guy was in this. The names that normally stick out for me are Justin Hayward and David Essex. Might have to give it another listen, it's been a while.

Re: What are you drinking now?

Fortunately I'm not the recovering alcoholic, although I may as well be considering how much I've drunk in the last month.

Beer deliveries? Assume this is the social distancing method of beer supply.

Re: What are you drinking now?

I'm glad someone is still drinking. My house is currently dry due to having a recovering alcoholic living in the house. I'm getting thirsty.

Bad shepherd ipa. So my local IGA is now stocking craft beer, who woulda thought. Anyway this is a tasty drop. Sweet initially but finishes quite bitter. At 6.8% it is not a session beer.

Re: What are you drinking now?

Hawkes Lager. Was gifted this at Christmas, would not normally purchase something like this. Pretty much like every other Aussie lager but just slightly better. Best served ice cold so you can't taste it.

Happy new year.

Mountain goat pale ale. Probably the only guy drinking this in Narrabri. 2 weeks till I head back to Mildura.
