I saw Dogger Dan's recipe posted recently and decided to give it a go.
After just over a month from start, I'm already running out. This beer is a prize winner. In fact I'm now preferring this beer to even the commercial beers I usually buy, including the foreign ones.
The only little drawback was ...

I installed a tap near the bottom. Transfer is simply connecting a tube from the higher drum to the second one. No more heavy glass kegs and misery of siphoning. Disadvantage is that ...

oxidation- a myth
I'm a relative novice at beer making but religiously read this forum and others to get information.
One of the subjects that perplexes me is oxidation.
So far, I gathered the following principles:
1. No need to worry about oxygen when the wort is still hot.
2. Get the wort cool quickly to avoid ...

Thanks to all for your advice. I'll give it shot (A Cheney quote).
Got to find a way to get Dogger Dan to let me try one of his beers. After all he's only a couple hours from me. Doesn't everyone relish the chance to sit and chat with an old lawyer? Sure!!! Maybe I'll also take a tour to Aussieland ...

Recharging flat beer
Some of your readers may recall my ending up with a stack of flat beer as a result of using plastic water bottles which didn't hold the pressure.
I am thinking of pouring the beer back in a carboy and bulk re-priming the beer.
Do you helpful folks think it would work? I hate to waste beer to the ...
