Re: Reducing Beer Haze

You should not have chill haze in a kit beer unless you have improperly steeped grain into it. Perhaps some very low quality liquid malts may have some but I have never seen it myself. Mostly your only concern is dropping the yeast from suspension.
Original series coopers & ldme, no grain.

Re: And so I try again.....newbie questions

I have left the dirty looking over flow beer in the airlock before, but if its still bubbling now is probibly the best time to remove, clean & sanatise ready for reinstall with clean cooled boiled water.

You can either spray soapy water on the joins, or if possible dunk it in the bath full of water.

Re: How many kegs (Kilo's) do you weigh?

After getting the chat from the doctor about blood pressure, colestrol & the risk of a heart attack, I have managed to come down from 85 to 79. Bloody doc whants me to be 75. Last time I was 75 was when I was 18 years old and looked scrawny. I think I will be happy in the high 70s.

Re: Snowy Mountains Crackenback Pale Ale

Why use the following
2x 1.5 kilo tins of LLME
500g LDME
Why not just dry or just liquid?
Also in a 4 litre boil with 500gms of ldme, would the hop schedule be the same?

Out of date by heaps

Out of date may be an underestimate
Its just a coopers original draught from years ago before I busted my fermentor & never renewed it until I could have a keg system.
Best before 28/09/2003
What can I do
1.Boil and treat like unhoped malt
2.Suck it and see
3.Bin it
