I bought some crown seal 330ml from Silverlock Packaging. 20 cartons of 42 bottles each worked at about 35c per bottle. (Cheaper if you order more)
I presume they sell 750ml bottles as well.

In SA there is a deposit on bottles which encourages returns. Recycling places here will collect the type of bottle you want for a fee (typically 50c for a long neck). sorry to be a bother but I went and had a look at my swingtop Grolsch bottles (only 3 :-)) and they have holes drilled in them for the metal "thingy".
How does this work for wine bottles? Do you have to drill holes? Can you buy "swingtop gadgets" that don't need holes?

How do you seal wine bottles that take corks. They seem to have straight sides at the lip unlike champagne bottles that have a rim.
