cheers blokes appreciate the advice, my shed has got a safety switch covering all power points so with a bit of luck i won't kill myself maybe just drink myself to death with all the good beer i'll be making !

Thanks for the response fellas i might use both ideas because i think an over the side heater could have many uses. Regan what wattage were the elements you used in your hlt, and how did you connect the electrics does having the 3 elements going at the same time load up your pwr point. i was ...

Just thought i'd let use know from what i've read on the net the large POL type lpg fittings used on propane differ slightly from those used in the U.S.A and those used in the U.k which would possibly lead to slight leakage issues with LPG, Hence for safety' s sake would not be worth investing in o ...

Just curious where to buy those rubbermaid coolers i've only been able to find the keep cold round coolers for about $85 at BCF, What are the keep cold coolers like as a mash tun is it much of a muchness between the two i know the price is good and i can't seem to find the rubbermaid ones anywhere ...

I've just had a crack at my kegs, first i gave them a bit of a touch with one of those rolock buffing pads (sought of like a plastic scourer) then hit it with the autosol and alfoil and i have to say it came up brilliant just like a mirror with no evidence of scratching. i was stoked ! very happy ...

G, day blokes i am currently getting my gear together for some ag action and i'm trying to get my legally bought kegs to a mirror finish within reason. Sediment reducer gone never to be seen again, and i was too lazy to rack just bottled today sample tasted very nice i'll be struggling to wait for this one to mature. Thanks blokes will put a lean on the fermenter next time, the bottles didn't look cloudy anyway who are we kidding beer tastes good ...

Not sure what to do here blokes, i'm currently fermenting an old speckled hen recipe which i got out of the brewing crafts book (mike rodgers-wilson). Now the fermenter that i used has a tap in it that makes it very hard to get into a vertical position when using a sediment reducer without it ...
