Hello brewers,
recently thought I might tryout the homebrand draught beer kit that I have been avoiding whenever I happen to purchase a kit or two at woolworths. Decided to keep things simple and in keeping with the homebrand theme cheap. If you have nothing better to do try this recipe out as it ...

Brewtopia labels ?
Brewers,
has anyone tried to use the brewtopia label design page only to find a blank white frame where they should be seeing the design area? Have tried a bunch of different settings for my browser, IE, but have had nil joy.
Other guy I know have used it with no dramas at all which makes it even ...

Wheat Beer is King
Drinkers of the Wheat,
one thing that improved the flavour of my wheat beers was the substituting of the kit's yeast with a more WB suitable kind such as K97.
This improved the results 10 fold for me so keep it in mind. Don't just go with my advice on the K97 too as there are a few WB yeasts to try ...

labels for your beer...
Fellow Brewers,
can anyone point me in the right direction with regards to having my own beer labels designed and printed? Is there such a service available or a quick download from somewhere that will let me do it all at home.
All advice will be appreciated.

J Boags clones?
Brewers,
Has anyone during their brewing adventures come close to combining the right ingredients to create a Boags taste alike? I would be very interested to know how you went about it.
All assistance appreciated,
Wheatman

The late 80's Aust beer steps out....
Brewers,
While looking at some of the posts I my memory was nocked into gear on seeing the name Matilda Bay. Does anyone who reads this forum remember the selection of beers available during the late 80's from the Brewer Matilda Bay? I'm not entirely sure but I believe I had a thing going for a ...

Draught?
Brewers,
If we are talking about Draught Beer are we talking Ale or Lager? Also what would be a good yeast to pitch when making a 'Draught Beer'?
All responses apprieciated.

How long?
Brewers,
Out of interest has anyone ever been able to keep their bottled beer long enough to give one a go after it has been hidden away for a year or more? And more to the point how did it go down? From experience does anyone have any ideas on how long beer can be kept in order to taste a ...

Mittlefruh Hops
Hello Brewers,
Today I bottled a batch of ESB Wheat Beer in which I had added Mittlefruh Hops. The beer tasted good enough at that point that I had to pull myself back from drinking it all there and then. Has anyone in the forum ever used Mittlefruh in their own brews? If so how did you find the ...

Kirin Draft
Hello,
Like the idea of susing out a kirin mix for home brewing. I lived up there for almost 5 years and became very attached to the Kirin range of brews. My favorite was and still is Kirin Draft. Not sure if you can buy it here but a friend of mine who is over there at the moment is bringing me ...

Braidwood Best Bitter
Hi brewers:
If your procceding down the Kings Hwy any time in the future I suggest you stop at Braidwood, between Batemans Bay and Canberra, and check out the local Brewing scene. Just behind the Baker in the middle of the main street you will be able to purchase some very nice beers. The last pub ...

Younga's N.Q. 514 ALE?(yeast question)
Hello Brewers,
Laid down an ESB Wheat Beer Kit last week and substitued the kit yeast for a K97 Safale one. In reference to the kit yeast does anyone know the type of yeast that is supplied with the kit? I have looked up the following information printed on the packet, Younga's N.Q. 514 ALE, via ...
