Just to expand on this, Radler means "Cyclist" in German and the mix of lemonade and beer was available at bars on the cyclists training routes so they could stop off and grab one on their rides.

+ 1 to the beeramisu. I'd probably consider using a splash of Brewdog Tokyo or Mikkeller black in there as well, if I had a bottle laying around the house.
I've also made beer pancakes, but I used Mikkeller Black and only a splash in there, turned out awesome, would pair fantastically with a ...

I've had them all, except the Strong Ale. Enjoyed them all, especially the Espresso Stout which, in my oppinion, is one of the best stouts going round at the moment.
The White Ale is a great spin on a traditional Wit, with a great aroma of nutmeg.
Highly reccomend them all

I've worked in a few bottleshops in my time and I can tell you that most of them have a small collection of glassware that breweries give them for promos. If you're a good customer and a nice person most good bottle-o staff will be happy to give you a nice glass.

Re: First Partial Mash Recipe Advice, Please
I do Partials (although now I'm just doing very small AG batches) in a 15L pot on my stove, I've just woken up but I'll outline my process as best I can.
Heat up 2.3l water to 1kg grain (last batch was 3kg) in main pot to ~74deg depending on desired strike (usually depends on ambient temp, practise ...

Re: Trying to move a full fermenter (a really bad idea??!)
i recently tipped a batch out for this reason.
I was frantically debating how i was going to move it, then i tasted it and realised i could probably stand to lose it.
However, a treasured brew would have ridden shotgun for the 20 minute drive home, seat-belted in.

Re: New kegger need help
From those wishing to make 'real' ales..... Some people claim they can tell the difference. i doubt it very much. CO2 is CO2.
CO2 is CO2, agreed. but wouldn't the fermentation that produces the CO2 in a primed beer create the perceptible flavour difference in the primed keg?
I haven't ...

Re: Dual Regulator
the good doctor has his own style, what he meant was; not a chance in hell of any perceptible cross contamination or taste transfer between kegs on the same regulator.
If you're still in doubt, give the cheap option a go before you buy the regulator add-ons.

Re: making beer with rainwater
The creepy crawlies don't worry me as much as the pollution you might be drinking. There are good reasons why they recommend we don't drink rainwater in urban areas.
