Temp when adding yeast about 28 degrees, but has had a very slow start, barely bubbling ...

Re: What next...??

Love the ideas of the wheat beers and the ales. Some intersting receipies to look at there. Never really thought you could go this in depth with home brew beer. Great that there is the avaiability to by all the differnt hops and yeast here.

However, i know it seems to be a bit of general feel that ...

Re: Cloudy beer...!!

Thanks everybody for the input. So many things to think about. I get the impression that it's pretty difficult to brew lager. But it's a learning curve.
Maybe I will leave this brew for another day or so and give it a good time in the bottle. Maybe put a dozen in the fridge for 4 weeks see how they ...

Re: Cloudy beer...!!

Thanks for the quick reply. The fermenter was at around 22-24 for the first 3 days and has steadied at about 18. The yeast was what came with the tin of concentrate. Not overly sure of the specific type.

Not sure if leaving it in the fermenter could risk it going off. ?? Or if the cloudyness will ...

Cloudy beer...!!

On my first homebrew. Have followed everything to the letter. Drawn off a sample today (day 7) but the beer is still hazey even though I have added finnings to the wort 2 days ago. Should I leave for another 24 hrs or should it settle in the bottle.

The starter kit came with a corona style beer ...
