Does anyone else find home brew more pleasant to drink than most of the cheaper commercial brands,or is it my imagination because i made it myself, is there some preservative in commercial beer, or is it gassed differently or something.

After about 10 days my beer brew looks almost flat in the test tube ,there where bubbles at day 7, S.G. is now 1008 is this normal

Ive sanitised my bottles bottles but my brew is not qite ready. Is it ok to leave them a few days up side down in racks or will I need to resanitise bottles again. Also my brew is still bubbling slowly after 7 days at about 24degrees doI need to leave it till all gasing stops?

My first brew I made recently I added too much water,the beer turned out ok ,easy to drink slightly lacking in carbonation but still with a kick,I am looking for the affect of adding too much water and how much is too much.
