Just put another brew down but being in Qld and having a few 30C days I am starting to worry about the temp my brew is sitting at (26C). .

Currently it is sitting in the bathroom (no windows) on the cool tile floor with a damp towel around it and occasionally a fan on it (missus won't ...

I have been a few post and i keep reading about using dextrose for priming the bottles. I have always used the coopers carbonation drops and have had some very yummy beers.

How much does the priming sugar a) adjust taste and b) adjust the finished product in the way of carbonation etc?

Also there is one in Brisbane called , funnily enough, the belgium cafe.

Has Stella, Leffe Dark and Leffe Blonde on tap but a huge variety on beer on their menu. Unfortunately it's not cheap so i have to limit visits to once every couple of months....

I would have to say that my favourite beers would be Lowenbrau (at oktoberfest only, not in a bottle), pilsner urquell, Coopers vintage (when i can afford it) and after a trip to the belgium bar in Brisbane big fan of Leffe.

I need to make a slight correction ... I used the Morgans stout not Coopers (first time not using Coopers)...

It is brewing around 22-24 C and it stopped bubbling a few days ago ... bubbles rapidly for about 3 days then stopped.
