Every time I visit the Lord Nelson the first ale on the agenda is the Old Admiral a very nice drop and around 8% IIRC. Nelson Blood is not a bad drop for those who enjoy a Porter.

I brought a bottle about 6 weeks ago from Dan Murphy's, Wentworthville, Sydney and it was around 17 bucks.

I gave the Mrs the first taste and she liked it. I finished off the bottle myself and fell in love with it.

I will be heading back there next week for another bottle as I am going to ...

Well for me it's the V8supercars.

We have friends that come down from QLD for the round in Sydney and Bathurst plus the group here in Sydney. We go to the QLD rounds.

I took the mrs to Lonestar the other week for a feed and they had Pure Blonde. With the normal, Crown, Bud, VB, Cold as choices of beer, I figured why not try one as the other beers dont rate.

Also, probably the worst commercial beer I ever tasted was Tasman Ice... twice as bad as Carlton Cold .... don't think I've seen it in years ... I wonder why ;-)
