Keeping fusils out is really hard. You could be adventurous and make your own from scratch? I was thinking of having a crack at it myself.

For distilling there is practically no point in paying the extra for dextrose over normal caster sugar. All the yeast is doing is going to react with the sugar to make alcohol, then if you're refluxing, then you'll remove all the other tastes and impurities anyway.
