Keeping fusils out is really hard. You can minimise them with the correct process of distilling, by making sure you have next to no sediment from the yeast in your wash when you distill. few other things also, but basically, you need to get a really good filter filled with active carbon. all the ...

You could be adventurous and make your own from scratch? I was thinking of having a crack at it myself.
I am looking at making something like a blueberry mash, use the sugars in the fruit and mix that with a wine yeast. Let it ferment until done. Distill that till through a pot still for a clear ...

For distilling there is practically no point in paying the extra for dextrose over normal caster sugar. All the yeast is doing is going to react with the sugar to make alcohol, then if you're refluxing, then you'll remove all the other tastes and impurities anyway.
