Do they give you feedback at all?

Sorry Heals, I missed that bit. For every beer you enter you will get judging sheets back from at least two judges. The whole idea is to provide feedback, and that is stressed heavily to all judges prior to the competition beginning.

Stu I'd like to enter one of my K&K brews, but I'm unsure exactly what category i'd enter it under (it's a coopers pale ale) or how much beer I need to drop off at the collection point? Just a single long neck or do they need more?

If anyone is wanting to enter a home brew competition, then the time is probably nigh. ANAWBS (the Australian National Amateur Wine and Beer Show) is still accepting entries, but time is running out.

Final closing date for entries to Adelaide (where the show is held) is 28 September. There are ...

ANAWBS has been running for some 27 years now, and has always been national in scope and intent, although traditionally held each year in Adelaide. It is an open, national, show .

ANAWBS - the Australian National Amateur Wine and Beer Show is being held in Adelaide very shortly.

All amateur brewers in Australia are eligible to enter.

Entries close 29 September.

Bruiser is right, especially in a full mash brew there is a lot of thermal mass in the grain itself. If you have an esky which loses 20 degrees over the duration of a mash, go and get another esky.
