I just opened a few of my first brew (Coopers Lager from a starter kit, no improvements). I used the coopers carb drops with the PET bottles. Whether I didn't cap tightly enough or whatever I'm not sure. There's a good sound on opening but the beer is only very lightly carbonated.

Racking tube - foodsafe?

Ended up buying a 25L cube for $20 from Bunnings but I'm thinking now it wasn't the wisest choice in terms of cleaning and also in light of a proper pail/fermenter not costing much (if any) more. Not too worried though as I figure I can still put it to use for bulk priming and it won't need much ...

this might sound stupid, but short of some sort of peltier based device (which have been discussed on some other threads here) I don't think you could really get cooling in a belt fashion without a more conventional refrigeration unit driving it externally.

Coopers Pale super fast primary ferment?
Well after impulse buying a cube and racking my first brew into it (I think hereafter the cube will be relegated to bulk priming duties only) I decided to lay down my second, a Coopers Pale kit.

Cleaning cubes?
Hello all,
New to HB and have learned heaps reading through all the old posts here.
