Want to keg cider, any hints?

Postby scarrgo » Sunday Dec 19, 2010 9:12 pm

 Looking at trying my hand laying a cider and kegging it, but not sure if it is done in the same fashion as beer. Has anyone had any experience at kegging cider?

Do the same as beer, just be prepared to soak all your seals and o'rings in something strong afterwards to get the cider taste out of your keg.

Thanks Tipsy! Will Napisan do the job for soaking the seals or would I be better off just getting a spare set specially for Cider?

Probably.

I've only used a comercial beer line cleaner for my kegs but will give napisan a go when I run out because I am pretty impressed how it cleans my fermenters and cubes.
