Preparing a 60 litre vat for new brew

Exactly as the title suggests. I have two 25 litre fermenters that have been used for beer and cider (each one seperately) I have acquired a 60 litre fermenter in order to brew larger quantities of mead and cider for various functions etc, so what is the best method for cleaning a 60litre drum used primarily for beer that is earmarked for cider. Bearing in mind this will be it's only vocation from now on as I do not have the need to brew 60 litres of beer at a time. Is it possible to remove the taint from the beer that has been brewedin this fermenter previously?

I'd use idophor in a spray bottle. Simply spray all surfaces. The spray bottle allows you to get right inside and hit every spot.

What material is it?

If it's plastic I'd soak it for a few days in a weak solution of milton or odourless bleach to get rid of the staining.
