But the Adelaide Crows beat the ferals from Port Adelaide. Actually, thrashed them.

What a beautiful thing.

Pity about the Dockers. They're my second team, since all my wife's family are Freo supporters.

Ah, hello ? Are we forgetting the Swans herculean style comeback against Brisbane at Brisbane. Surely the game of the round (if not year).

Pity the Warratahs couldn't follow suit.

Postby JAZZA » Sunday Apr 10, 2005 9:53 pm

G'day Grab all this mashing is making me very envious I will have to give it a go one day .

anyway being originally from Perth I go for the Dockers as they were the under dogs years ago and I was so sick of the adverts always with the eagles in them and then going to work and seeing john worsfold at his chemist shop

Been as my footy comments have changed the flavour of this thread may as well keep it going. Yep Swan effort was bloody excellent, however all these "upset" games played havoc with my footy tipping, only got 2 for the round!.

All in all a bad weekend all round for my teams, Crusaders got slaughtered in Super 12's and Stoke lost again in Championship League, oh well better luck next weekend!!

Yeah, the Dons finally scraped in. I'm told they are late starters though, so all is well for you Bomber fans.

...and I got a massive four this round Grab. Even picked the Swans somehow. BTW, what's with supporting the Crusaders. You aren't a kiwi are you Grab ? And Stoke ? You must be their only Aussie supporter. I can't talk, I support Leyton Orient (who ?).

I'm not a Kiwi, the missus is, and until Perth gets firing in new Super 14 I just can't bring myself to support any of the Aussie teams! Stoke, too right, was born there so have to stay loyal to the "home team"

Did I mention the Jays took two away from Boston this weekend.

Where is that Beantown Bucko now.

Oliver, you are right again of course, my missus barracks for the Swans, I barrack for whoever is playing Port Power, what a stupid name anyway! Port Power sounds like they should have chimneys on their clubrooms like the Pt. Augusta power station!

beermeister,

Since Neil took over IHS in Bayswater I've started going there, it's just roune the corner from home and he's prett helpful! Previous owner focussed more on his commercial supply side of business while Neil is trying to build up retail side.

I don't have any financial interest in the place, I just think we should support local business where possible!
