Hi all,

I had the pleasure of having a few beers at the Great Northern Hotel on Sunday. What a great range of beer on tap.

One of the highlights was the Feral Hop Hog IPA. Is this the best tab beer in Australia? Apparently the Great Northern is the only place in the eastern states you can buy Feral beer.

I also had on tap Hargreaves Hill ESB, a hand-pumped Holgate ESB and Grand Ridge Hatlifter Stout.

Food was good, too.

If anyone's in the area, I can highly recommend it.

Maybe we should organise a bit of a session there?

I factored that into my statement. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe everyone else's kegs had blown? I know the Local Taphouse had some late in the year (website says it is current, but you know...) and I'm sure they have prior and no doubt the Sydney branch would have too. I'd be pretty surprised if these were the only venues - Feral is a pretty well regarded brewery.

You would think being in W.A. one might find the feral range in a pub or bottlo.
Never seen it here in Gero and was in Perth only last week at the Kardinya at
least they had Fat yak, LCPA, Carlsberg and a few others on tap. All or most
pubs here are mega swill .Dont even have a LHBS. Ah the joy of livin in the bush.

I travel to Perth a lot for work and have found the Feral White on tap at a few places. One I can remember off the top of my head is:
