Pavilion Brewhouse & Bar, Launceston

Hi fellas,

If there's anyone else from Launceston here, you might be interested in a new place, The Pavilion, that's opened up in the York Town Square.

At the moment it's nothing too flash, just a bar and pretty large restaurant area. It just recently opened and it looks like they're still in the process of refurbishing it etc.

However, the exciting thing is that the owner is planning on installing a microbrewery. He said it should be going in hopefully in January, and there should be a Pilsner on tap soon afterwards, followed by a few other different brews after that. He also said that he was planning on having tasting nights etc.

So anyway, it should be good, and hopefully it goes well. Certainly one to keep your eye out for later next year if you're in the area.
