Chris Badenoch's beer and food blog

He was on Masterchef, but if, like me, you have a strong dislike of such shows don't let that put you off! A fairly new blog, but there's still quite a few mouth watering recipes to dribble over.

The Beeramisu is in Homebrewer Magazine I think.

Yep, and if you can't get Youngs Double Choc Stout use any stout, porter or even dark ale that you like.

+ 1 to the beeramisu. I'd probably consider using a splash of Brewdog Tokyo or Mikkeller black in there as well, if I had a bottle laying around the house.

I've also made beer pancakes, but I used Mikkeller Black and only a splash in there, turned out awesome, would pair fantastically with a breakfast stout float

I'd have to recommend Sinha (Lion) stout for all things cooking. Well, everything actually.

Damn that's a good beer.

Been a while since I tasted it but from recollection the Sinha lager was quite nice too. Malty mmmm.

Yeah, the lager is good.
Who'd have thought the Sri Lankans were that good at making beer? They leave the Indians for dead.

Oh no, now the Indian national newspapers will probably accuse me (and Australia) of racism...
