Food/beer pairings revisited

Postby Chris » Friday Oct 19, 2007 8:23 am

Ok, it's been a while since we last did food/beer pairings. Anyone got any new combinations?

One that I'm doing at the moment is a leg of ham with a special bitter.
It's a classic combo for a reason :D In a few days I'll sacrifice a whole beer over the top of the remaining ham, and bake it in the bitter.

Just for a lazy Sunday watching sport on the tele nibble.

Radishes, topped and tailed in ice cold water, with a saucer full of salt and pepper at the side. Dip, bite, chew, swallow, drink (any decent beer) ... sheer decadence and still within price of the working man.

Cheers, Pete
