New to Kegging

Guys need some info would anybody know of where i can pick up a co2 bottle in the Brisbane area prefer the north side, local brew shop has them for around 180.

Or you can rent one from BOC for about $122 a year and $55 a refill. Some people use a modified C02 fire extinguisher.

Its only $45 at BOC Rocklea... I should know... cost me 2 bottles until i got my leaks fixed.... (OUCH)

Depending on how long you intend kegging, and how close you are to your LHBS,
it might be best to purchase the cylinder from your LHBS, and then swap and go as Gregb mentioned.

Long term the initial 180 bucks is ok, and you will end up in front when its only about 30 bucks for a full replacement cyclinder.

Also, you can still sell the stuff if you stoppped brewing for some reason...

Heh thanks guys, i ended up buying a co2 bottle (my kegs on legs) 6.8kg bottle, now onto me 5 keg, drank 2 ops, i put a ginger beer down the ginger goes through everything learnt that lesson the hard way, back now brewing the good stuff.
