"The options! The options!"

So I was thinking about spending some student allowance where the government probably doesn't intend for it to go if I get a good starting first year scholarship (assuming I'm get in to uni).

Kegorators are pretty confounding though, there's waaay too many options! Chest freezer, or fridge, what brand of taps, regulator, what other plumbing I need.

I'd really like a 3 tap system, but I'm seriously considering just getting the two tap pre built from Beerbelly.

But first, taps! Looking at Craftbrewer there's quite a few that I can't pick between, what has worked for you blokes?

Can't offer much advice because i'm in the process of building my first kegerator, and i'm trying not to spend too much on my first effort.

I must say that the stainless steel Celli tap looks fantastic. But at $215 a pop, i'll pass for now.

I bought the basic tap setup from kegs online.

Perlicks are great, stay away from Micromatics they fill up with shit and are harder to clean.

Jeez, they're cheap! Have to order them from overseas. Crafbrewer has them at $79 each.

Yeah...but they work right?

I'll look at other options once I stop bleeding money and get settled into this kegging game. More kegs are higher on my wishlist.

Yeah they work, in fact I've got 2 laying around if you want them

If you want cheap, look into the plastic picnic tap. They pour really well.

My wife is headed to the states in September, so i'm probably going to pick up a pair of those Perlick taps.

You can have them for the cost of the postage if you want them, BUT they don't come with the shanks as I've used them with the Perlicks.
