Tempright Alternative

The ins and outs of putting your beer into kegs.

Tempright Alternative

Postby griffo » Friday Jul 22, 2005 8:17 am

I'm have a keg system setup and am looking for a way in which I can chill the beer as the keg won't fit in the fridge. I was thinking of running the line into the fridge with and coiling it up before going onto the tap. I don't know if I could chill it enough, even if it went through the freezer bit as well. Another ideas I had was to have it sit in a small "holding tank" to increase the volume inside the fridge.

Any proven methods out there, other than using ice or a tempright?

geez and some people thought beertechs offering was expensive!!!

try them griffo http://www.beertech.com.au

the keg will still need to be chilled slightly to help with carbonation or at least have temp regulated. maybe a stainless condensor coil in freezer section would help or a bigger fridge
Some people say I have a drinking Problem....
I drink, I get drunk, I fall over....
What's the problem?
