19L & 30L Keg help.

Postby Rysa » Tuesday Jun 12, 2007 9:40 am

Hi all,
i've acquired a couple of old kegs that have bits missing from the top. Just wondering if they're worth it or should i handball them on as i know absolutely nothing about kegs.
Cheers.

Rysa,
At a wild assed guess, your 30L keg looks like it's using a U System keg valve (the kind used by Guinness and Harp - but the notches appear to be a bit too long so it's bloody hard to be certain from a single photo.

The 19L keg is possibly an S Valve fitting but with the internals of the valve missing it's a bit tricky - it could be a simple D Valve.

Cheers,
TL

Cheers T.L., you're right first guess with the 30L.
It seems to have something missing in the centre from what i can gather.

Any idea where i can get parts for them?

You might also want to give Grain and Grape a buzz - they might stock this sort of gear, I dunno...
