Plus, i love being able to stand behind the bar and pour a pint for an appreciative mate. Or 10 as was the case on AFL GF day when 2 kegs got drained.......
I agree with Chris, much easier to sanitise one container as opposed to 30 odd longies or 60 stubbies.
The ability to dry hop in the keg is not to be underestimated either! Speaking of which, i need a few more tea balls, they dont fit enough hops in for my liking.......
As for letting go, i have managed to throw away nearly 3 dozen longies this year that were either chipped or twist tops.
