How many kegs from a 9kg bottle?

Postby rwh » Sunday Oct 21, 2007 3:00 pm

Hi guys,

I've got a 9kg CO2 bottle, and I've been using it on my 2 keg kegorator for about 9 months; carbonated and dispensed about 30 kegs with it, and it's nearly empty. Is it just me, or does this sound like too few? Do you think I have a gas leak?

What size are your kegs? My local told me I would get about 50 cornies per 9kg bottle.
Prost and happy brewing!

Sounds about right to me - a 9kg bottle will dispense approx 50 kegs, but with carbonation etc, it sounds ok.

Thanks guys, so long as I'm in the ballpark, that's cool. I've got one 12L and one 19L in my barfridge. Photo:
