i have my kegs and keg and line cleaner just wonderin do i need to use StarSan befor i put my beer in the keg or can u skip that stuff if i need it can you tell me where the cheapest place is to buy it

i see that grammar is optional on this post so yes you do need to sanisitse your kegs prior to using them starsan is good and available at many if not most hb shops google will help you out i dont know for sure myself as i get it free from a different source i hope this helps to some degree

could you use Brewshield in stead of starsan?

As Paul said, it is overpriced compared to starsan- and it just isn't as good. The starsan foam gets everywhere, and does do a good job of staying there and sanitising.
