Yer i know sounds good hey but i need some food grade lube for my Orings the bloke at the LHBS dosnt have any so any ider what the name of some good stuff is and were ellls i can try geting some from ?

One of the local HBS swears by KY when I rank asking the same question...haven't used it myself though.
Thought he was joking at first, he was serious though. Said any water based lube should be good to use.

My local chemist sells one that comes in a glow in the dark tube just for the brewer looking for that extra bit of fun :lol: :lol:

realistically speaking, is there any reason that you couldn't use the tiniest amount of vegetable oil? is it only because it might affect the beer's head?

On some bad advise I tried this on an air stapler "was the done thing", I was told. Sorry to report it stuffed the O rings in six months and the stapler was U/S.

KY might be the go T/L as I was thinking dual purpose :)
