Refractometer readings

Postby SuperBroo » Monday Nov 01, 2010 5:48 pm

A while ago somewhere there was posted a link to some spreadheets, which adjusted refractometer readings for end of
fermentation, when the alcohol affects the refraction of light, making the Brix reading incorrect.

Can someone please tell me where the spreadsheet is available from, and if they have found them to be accurate or not.

I love the simplicity of using my refractometer,
the only downside is you dont end up with a nice size sample to taste like when you uise a hydrometer jar :)

cheers
