Heyas
Have found 2 hop plants near were i live but dont know what strain they are. :(
Is there a way to tell which strain is which.
Sorry im new to this.

Apparently it is very difficult to do even with experience. Most often I see people say that it is impossible to tell someone else how to do it.

I've also heard that wild hops can be different to commercial hops in some way and aren't necessarily suitable for brewing purposes.

Maybe just grab some and do a small boil with them and see what character they impart?

These are meant to be hops planted for brewing years ago. 1 lot is down at Woods Point were i used to work at the mine (were xxxx first started) and still visit and another 1 near my place in Buningyong.(docter there when town was first started put them in and was a home brewer)....thnx though will try a boil to see what they are like :)
