Just cuz I'm bored...

I put up an IPA try before work today. Everything went smooth. Amazing how few mistakes when you're not drinking. My steep temp held at 165f without change for the whole 30 min. No spikes like usual. Stirred in my lme and DME before crankin up the heat. That helped a lot. No boil over at hot break.

Hand milled in my new mill.

6lbs light LME
2lbs brewers gold DME
2 oz Centennial 60 min
1oz Cascade 10 min

Pitched a 1/2 gal starter of Wyeast 1272.

I'll be dry hopping another oz of Cascade in a week.

Wow, I guess I brought back that nearly dead 1272 pack. Just 8 hrs since pitching and she is in full bloom damn near blowing the air lock off.
