Found these on sale at my local Coles for $5.00 today. Never used the Spicy Ghost but have used the Pale Ale which was pretty good. They were also throwing out Coopers Bitter for $5.00 a can too, though these were almost past best before dat.e

Don't worry too much about the BB date - especially if you're going to use a different yeast.

The spicy ghost isn't too bad - made to the kit instructions it makes a decent 'guest' beer.....

Well that is very interesting, as I was back at my local Coles being my usual tightarse self looking for cheap kits. They had Cascade Imperial Voyage pale Ale for $6.99 and the Mahogany Porter for $6.99 as well. Maybe I need to move to NE Victoria...

Have used the Pale Ale a number of times and it's very good if used with malt and specialty grains.

I would recommend grabbing as many Mahogany Porter kits as you can fit in your box trailer. That's a great price and you can keep making Wassa's Honey Porter for years to come.

It's one hell of a great beer.
