The good, the bad and the ugly of commercial beer and breweries, including microbreweries and craft breweries.

I'm not sure if it's just a short-term promotional thing, or if Aldi has realised there's a market for this since Dans and 1st Choice are mostly flogging the BUL versions for around twice the price. Imported Beck's, Heineken, and Stella available. The Stella though is imported from the UK. LOL.

Check the ABV of the Stella, according to the "Morning Advertiser" pub trade newspaper, following the summer of rioting over there, Stella has been dropped to 4% ABV as it was hooligan fuel at 5%, and was also widely known in the UK as "wife beater". UK drinking is a bit different to Australian, over there you drink four or five or six pints in a session at the pub and your Thwaites 3.9% bitter or whatever doesn't do you too much harm. However I remember as a skinny 20 something youngster over there, when they brought in Stella and Lamot (Bass's answer to Stella) I'd slam seven pints and end up a paralysed twitching heap

And when are we going to get liqour in our Aldi stores in QLD?????????

Are the UK wholesalers trying to flogg off their stock of 5% Stella that they can't sell domestically?

And has anyone had a look at the best-before date?
