The good, the bad and the ugly of commercial beer and breweries, including microbreweries and craft breweries.

Cosidering the locals of Bairnsdale are mainly VB swillers, i dont think to many of them would no what it was let alone want to buy it but yes it was lucky and i was very happy as you can imagine

As far as a session beer goes i gotta say that if i could get hold of enough of it then i would be quite happy having a good session on it, what did you pay for your 6 pack, when i bought mine the guy in the drive through couldnt find a price for it so i offered him $20 for the dozen and he said yep no worries, thought that was a pretty fair price

It actually goes quite nicely as a session beer, I found out last night. I tried it for the very first time and really enjoyed it - I *think* I had 6 or so, but cannot remember because there was other stuff...

Strangely, it reminded me of my two-can stout attempt.

Sounds to me like you need to get in and brew some more of your own, lethaldog. This purchasing of commercial beer is very unsettling.

Mind you, the bottles are good for HB. Oh, wait...

Does anyone know if they're releasing another batch of this lovely stuff???

There's no mention of it on their site (or Hop Thief come to mention it)

Cheers,

Tim
