Cheap 3 Monts in Melb.

Just a heads up on some cheap 750ml bottles of French 3 Monts bottled much like the chimay range of tallies. This beer should cellar very well at its high alc % but the best date on these bottles says 4/12/08. I can't see that being a problem for a beer like this but Vintage cellars on Spencer st between Collins and flinders lane has them for $10.99 a pop. They also have a great range of imports and Aussie beers that you wouldn't expect from such a small store out of the way in town.

You're right - I work about a block away from there and walk past regularly.

They also have a good range of beer + glass bonus packs in there too.
