Hey Mick, finally got that bottle of stout out to you, mate. Post shop had finally availed themselves of the wine bottle packages so was able to get it away. Sorry for the delay. Oh, it's not labeled either. It's my Accidental Stout (was going to be brewing an ESB before I realised, after getting water to strike temp, that I'd buggered up and bought the wrong grain - quick decision to whack in a bunch of spec grain that I had lying around and voila, a stout) and it has been in the bottle for some weeks now (was in the keg from which it was bottled for even longer) so should be good to throw back as soon as it's at serving temp.

Yeh speedy, it went down a treat!!

It is my sad duty to report a fatality,
I recieved a bottle yesterday with only about 20ml left in it,
& believe it or not, it was a PET bottle with a crack through the base of it, although it was only packed in bubble wrap & a plastic bag............. :( :( :(

My bottle was a PET but I sent it in the styrofoam wine bottle packaging that the post shop had, so I'm glad it wasn't mine that burst. By the way, I didn't label it so when a bottle turns up that says "From: Jeremiah" on the postage label, that's mine.

Speaking of that brew, I had a number of them last night. I was certain that the keg was just about dry but a mate and I powered through it just about all night and it still hasn't blown. I love never-ending kegs!

To elaborate a little on this. It was a nice balanced Ale, not too bitter for me with good flavour & aroma very much like the DSGA (sorry Doc :D )
The only slight floor which is insignificant & present in most AG beers was a little chill haize.

A few of the Porters I recieved were very nice too, Ivé already mentioned Earle's Choc Porter & his other 350ml bottle was a bourbon Porter which was equally quaffable.
I had another Porter the other night which I liked alot too, will have to check the empties to remember who's it was.
