Easter lotto draw

Postby billybushcook » Wednesday Jan 05, 2011 5:25 am

Assuming we are going to make this a monthly draw?
The second last Saturday of each Month?
Below has been stolen from Planners original thread.

Here are the ground rules: (thanks mostly to Jye of AHB)

1. Post in this thread to say you are in and add your name to the list.
2. The winner will be first valid number drawn out of the Tattslotto draw on Saturday the 15th January 2011 (draw 3076), if no winner the first drawn on Saturday the 22nd January 2011 (draw 3077) will be the winner, and all non-winners have to send that person a bottle of their finest brew. Lotto results are available at http://www.tatts.com.au
3. Bottles can be what ever you feel comfortable mailing (PET, glass or stubbies) and should come to about 750ml. It is up to the winner to notify all non-winners by PM of address details.
4. Beers should be mailed as soon as possible. I realise with Christmas people will be away on leave etc, so no exact date is given as a deadline. The winner is at liberty to name and shame any welchers.
5. Please remember to attach a label so the winner can identify the beer and brewer.
5. You may enter more than once, but if you don't win you must send a bottle for each entry; each bottle must be a different beer.

Tattslotto plays 45 numbers, so 45 entries max, if we don't get 15 entries by the Friday before the draw (17th December 2010) I'll cancel the lotto, put my tail between my legs and call it a failure.

Man, this guy wants all the beer, huh?

I can't go in every month - too rich for my blood and my brewing doesn't always support it. Best of luck to all.

Three monthly sounds good to me too. How about we tie it to occasions/holidays.

How about-
Xmas
Easter
Christmas in July - 30 June?
Oktoberfest - 30 Sept?

If we change this to an easter lotto I'm in. Gives people more time to plan/brew too.

Everyone please note: I won't be doing this. If I enter it'll just be with whatever I am brewing or drinking at the time depending on how the draw date lines up with my consumption.

Ha ha. I knew the 'plan' comment would get some responses.

I more meant plan to put something in a bottle rather than a keg, or in my case plan to put something in a long neck rather than give away all my 375ml stubbies that they don't make any more. I also would send something I was currently brewing rather than brew specifically for the lotto, but I would bottle specifically for the lotto.

I thought you guys were keen brewers?? :D :D

Maybe it's just me with a drinking/brewing problem??
I normally have a selection of at least a Dozen brews spread across 130+ bottles on the shelf!

Needless to say I always have some apropriate beers to send. (actually keen to have some one try one of mine)

Tri Monthly or holiday Lottos are still OK with me.

Gotta go & heat my sparge water.......another pale Ale on the way.

Cheers, mick

Sorry Planner, I shouldn't have jumped in on your party here.

So is it to be a Quarterly draw?, seem to be the general consensus!

Mick.

Doesn't bother me Mick, it takes a lot more than that to ruffle my feathers.
Happy to enter whenever we can get worthwhile numbers. At $14-$15 for postage and package one would expect a reasonable prize (personally I reckon 10 bottles would be the minimum). I'll keep entering if the site numbers will maintain interest, whether you, I or whoever starts the thread.

So I take it this didn't get up for Jan? So when is it going to be? Easter?

Maybe Oliver can change the title to "Easter Lotto Draw"??

Cheers, Mat.

If we're agreed that it's going to be Easter, I can change the subject.
