I'm pretty sure I'm going to send the Black Sheep clone that I bottled on the weekend. It tasted good from the fermenter but I'm still not as confident as Tipsy. I'll have an sneaky early taste sometime then pop a bottle in the post once I'm satisfied that its a goer.

Don't worry, next draw will be September if everyone is still happy with the quarterly draws. Now, what do we call the September draw????

Best investment I have ever made.

Say what up to $20 postage to the opposite side of the country??? You guys would know by now.

That's the cost, but look at the win! I'm rather stoked I am.

If thats the case I might whack on a home brand lager with 2kg of white sugar, ferment in the garden shed at 35C, should be ready to bottle in 2 days. Another two days to carbonate and I'll be set for lotto draws for the next 10 years.

Just kidding Sonny, it'll be a bottle of my best. 8)

Morning all, Earl could you put us down on number 23 again, appreciate. Ps, how's the Belgian brew going, you'd be drinking a few now?
Cheers BB

Don't expect any amazing beers from me for future draws. My brews can be hit and miss. Some are great, some are ordinary.

Thread for September draw is here http://www.homebrewandbeer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10584#p107739. BB I have added you to 23 as requested.

Have been letting the Belgian age some more. Have been meaning to do a side-by-side with a Grimbergen that I have but my wife gets a bit funny about why I need to be drinking 2 beers at once, let alone 2 high alc% beers. Soon though. Maybe if you win the next draw BB you can find out for yourself. Though she does like my bock attempt. High alc% but came out a bit too sweet for my liking, hopefully some age will help it.

In the meantime I did a Black Goat FWK from craft brewer, followed up by the Black Sheep clone that I mentioned above in the thread. Very keen to do a side-by-side once my clone has had some time in the bottle as well. I guess at least if you've drunk two beers its easier to put up with the questions about why you had to do it.

Bottle in the post to you today Sonny.

Don't be put off by the XXXX gold label, just close your eyes. The bottles were collected from a mates dad years ago, his doctor told him he had to cut back on drinking so he switched from downing tallies of full-strength to tallies of gold.

Truthfully Rotten, not real mad on cider. Made some myself and let the wifey drink it for me.

But due to the fact that you've retreated to drinking Tooheys New, I am happy to await for some of this robust Porter or you can send the cider and the good wife can drink it when the weather warms up a bit.

I am quite relaxed with payment times mate. But every 6mths I believe it may grow to double the debt.

Meant to say it'll probably be better if you leave it a few more weeks before consuming. Cheers

Will do mate. So far;

1. Barls supplied a Smokey Scwartz which was yummo, but it didn't like the bike ride home. He also supplied me with a Trois Pistole which is currently conditioning.
2. RUM57L sent a Blue Mountain Lager which I'll drink when I see some sunshine and the weather warms a little.
3. Tipsy, an Irish Red Ale. Lookin' forward to that one.
4. Earle's Black Sheep clone is also now here. I'll give it a week at least after the trip down.
